Solo-Car Collision on Loop 202 near Lower Buckeye Road Hospitalized Several People

PHOENIX, AZ (November 18, 2022) – Tuesday evening, at least four people were injured following a solo-car collision near Lower Buckeye Road.

The incident happened on November 15th, near Loop 202 and Lower Buckeye Road, when a vehicle occupied by a family rolled over.

Following the collision, a bystander transported the family to a Circle K gas station near 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road to get help. From there, two children involved in the collision were hospitalized for major injuries.

Afterward, officials shut down the southbound lanes of Loop 202 to perform clearing duties and additional investigation.

The events leading up to the fatal accident were not yet known and further investigation is underway.
