Road Closed Following Rollover Car Accident on East Providence Avenue

SPOKANE, WA (December 23, 2021) – Four people were injured in a rollover collision on Nevada Street, Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened just after 5:00 p.m., along N. Nevada Street and E. Providence Avenue. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

According to reports, two vehicles collided in the area, under unclear circumstances. The crash sent the one of the cars rolling over and into the fence of Longfellow Elementary.

Additionally, rescuers extricated at least one person trapped in the vehicle.

Paramedics located at least four people with injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, officials blocked off the area for clearing operations before it was later reopened.

Authorities did not release any additional information at this time. However, the cause of the accident and factors involved remain under investigation.
