Semi-Truck Accident on 15 Freeway Results in Multiple Injuries

VICTORVILLE, CA (September 13, 2021) Four people are recovering from their injuries after a multi-vehicle crash on 15 Freeway involving a tractor-trailer.

The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m., on Wednesday. Officers arrived at southbound I-15 between Stoddard Wells Road and Bell Mountain.

According to reports, a semi-truck struck a white sedan with a blown out tire that was traveling slowly on the freeway.

After the initial impact, the semi-truck also struck a white pick-up truck with a trailer attached to it. As a result, the pick-up truck was pushed off onto the dirt shoulder of the road.

Eventually, the Victorville City Fire reported they had a total of four patients at the scene. However, their identities have not been provided.

In addition, officials also requested one medical helicopter to transport a critically injured patient to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

At this time, the CHP are still currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the 15 Freeway multi-vehicle crash.
