Stolen Ambulance Crashes along West Chase Street, Injures 4, One Detained

PANORAMA CITY, CA (June 14, 2022) – On Sunday, authorities arrested a woman following a crash on West Chase Street that injured four people.

According to the report, an unidentified woman stole an LAFD ambulance from Sherman Oaks Hospital at 14500 W. Chase Street.

Investigators said the stolen ambulance crashed into a pickup and SUV following a short police pursuit in San Fernando Valley.

As a result, four people including the woman who stole the ambulance sustained life-threatening injuries.

At this time, Panorama City Officials continue to investigate the collision.

No further details regarding the crash are public at this time; however, more information will be provided once made available.
