At Least 4 Sent to Hospital after Head-On Collision on Highway 99

VINA, CA (November 23, 2021) – At least four people sustained injuries early Thursday after a head-on collision on Highway 99.

The incident occurred just before 2:15 a.m. November 18, on southbound lane of Highway 99.

According to the CHP, a Chevy pick-up collided head-on with a Toyota SUV, under unclear circumstances.

Paramedics arrived and located at least 4 persons with injuries and took all of them to a hospital for treatment.

Following initial investigations, police said the truck possibly veered off the road, however, an active investigation is still underway.

Moreover, officials closed the southbound lanes for two hours for clearing operation but has since reopened.
