DUI Crash on 20th Street Sent 4 to Hospital

DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (October 13, 2021) A DUI crash on 20th Street early Sunday morning injured four individuals, including two children.

The accident happened about 2:31 a.m. on westbound 20th Street near Palm Drive.

According to reports, a 21-year-old male driving a white Lexus westbound on 20th Street ran a stop sign and broadsided a white Chevrolet on Palm Drive.

Paramedics transported the unidentified driver of the Lexus, who had suffered serious injuries, to a nearby hospital.

Meanwhile, other rescuers transported the 36-year-old lady driving the Chevrolet and her two children to a local hospital when they complained of discomfort.

Authorities also suspect that drugs or alcohol had a role.

At this time, CHP continue to investigate the crash.
