311 and Matisyahu Merge Rap, Rock and Reggae at the Hollywood Palladium

311 sold out the Hollywood Palladium in support of their latest release, Stereolithic. Matisyahu opened the concert Friday, Aug. 12, with a performance that included a guest appearance by Kekoa Alama. The Maui resident was singing Matisyahu's “One Day” for a local coffee shop crowd just over a week ago when, unbeknownst to him, the writer of the song joined in. Matisyahu was in Hawaii for music festivals and surprised Alama in a performance that was captured on video by a local.
