Place: Egg Slut Truck. (Note: At its current schedule, the truck can be found at Handsome Coffee Roasters Mondays through Thursdays from noon to 4 p.m.)

Atmosphere: Your best option is to pair your order with an espresso with milk from Handsome Coffee Roasters just a few steps away. The barista might jokingly give you permission to have your food inside as long as you share, which is understandable once you try the Fairfax. This is one of the better (scrambled) egg sandwiches in town.

Inside, you might see a trio of plaid-wearing men in their mid-20s sitting at the communal high table, checking their iPhones as they converse with one another. A more likely scenario is a handful of individuals sitting by themselves, outfitted more often with a book than a MacBook.

Menu: It's a short list of mostly sandwich offerings, which doesn't make it any easier to choose between the Fairfax, the Sausage or the Avo Burger. The latter is a 1/3-pound patty in a brioche bun topped with Haas avocado, Tillamook cheddar, caramelized onions and one egg over easy.

Duration: When we stopped by, there was no line. We waited for approximately 16 minutes.

Prices: The selections generally run $2-$9.
