Solo-Vehicle near Crismon Road Left Three Teen Girls Dead

MESA, AZ (March 20, 2023) – Wednesday night, a rollover crash on Guadalupe Road killed left three teenage girls dead, and one girl injured. The incident happened on March 15th, at around 9:00 p.m. near the intersection of Guadalupe Road and Crismon Road. According to Mesa Police, a 16-year-old girl, in a blue Mustang, with three other occupants, attempted to switch lanes but lost control. The Mustang hit a curb, drove through the landscaping, hit a boulder, and then rolled over into a light pole. All four occupants of the vehicle became trapped inside. Emergency crews at the site of the collision extracted the children, ages 14-17. Following the crash, officials pronounced the driver and the front passenger dead at the scene. Meanwhile, medics transported two other girls to a local hospital for treatment. Later, one of the girls died at the hospital. The other passenger sustained minor injuries and was the lone survivor of the crash. All the girls were students at Skyline High School.
