Whether you are going through a particularly stressful time, or you just need a little help winding down one evening, a CBD oil may be worth a try. One of the best and easiest ways to start getting your dose of CBD is through a drink you can easily mix your CBD oil into.

Making a homemade CBD drink can give you a wide variety of options, from a simple tea or coffee to a CBD smoothie or latte. If you are ready to try out some CBD drink recipes, read on for a great place to start.

First, What Is CBD and Can You Cook With It?

CBD, also known as cannabidiol, is one of many compounds that can be found naturally in both marijuana and hemp plants. This natural compound is thought to have a variety of potential beneficial properties. From stress relief to pain management, the interaction CBD has with the endocannabinoid system could be useful for relaxation.

Through an extraction process a number of CBD products can be made. From oils to edibles, there are a wide variety of CBD products on the market today. One of the most popular choices for cooking or mixing a drink is a CBD oil or tincture.

The quality of a CBD oil will impact how effective it is. Choosing a high-quality product, from hemp plant to extraction process, is key. One of the best ways to find a reliable product that you can cook or make a drink with is through third-party lab test results. This ensures you are buying a high-quality product that will translate well into any recipe.

Another important thing to remember when cooking with CBD or adding it to a drink is to watch out for high temperatures. CBD can start to lose its potency when heated too much, so it’s best to keep it under 325-350 degrees Fahrenheit. Now, let’s make sip our way to relaxation with these three CBD drink recipes:

CBD Tea (Two Ways)

There are a few ways to make CBD tea at home. One of the easiest ways is to add some CBD oil to your favorite tea once steeped. (Double as needed).

-Parchment paper

-Strainer

-Grinder (or a cutting board and knife)
