Fiery Crash near Lakewood Boulevard Left Several Hurt

DOWNEY, CA (April 29, 2022) – A fiery crash along 105 Freeway in Downey left three California Highway Patrol officers injured Thursday morning.

According to the report, the incident occurred at 1:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes near Lakewood Boulevard.

Meanwhile, the two officers inside the vehicle sustained moderate injuries.

In the end, authorities took the female SUV driver into custody for suspicion of DUI.

Downey officials also closed the eastbound side of the 105 Freeway for investigation.
