Three Pronounced Dead after Stolen Vehicle Collision near American Canyon Road

FAIRFIELD, CA (March 13, 2023) – Early Wednesday morning, three individuals lost their lives in a high speed chase on Interstate 80.

Police responded to the scene around 12:35 a.m., near American Canyon Road on February 22nd.

According to reports, officers attempted to stop a stolen white Hyundai that was heading east on the freeway. However, the driver failed to stop and the pursuit began.

Eventually, the driver exited the highway at Suisan Valley Road and lost control. As a result, the Hyundai overturned.

Emergency crews arrived and pronounced three occupants inside the Hyundai dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identities.

At this time, an active investigation is still currently underway. Once available, further details will be provided about the fatal high speed chase on Interstate 80.
