Deadly Car Accident Kills 3 near Mile Marker 99 in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NV (April 1, 2021) – Late Saturday afternoon, three people were killed in a head-on rollover collision on Highway 95.
Crews arrived to the scene around 3:57 p.m., on March 27. The two vehicles involved were described as a tan 1998 Ford F150 and a silver 2011 Toyota Highlander.
Per reports, an adult male driver of the Ford was heading north when he drifted into the southbound lanes. There, he struck the Toyota head-on.
As a result of the impact, the Toyota veered into the dirt shoulder and overturned, ejecting a female passenger and two juveniles.
The Ford driver from Tolleson, Arizona was not wearing a seat belt at the time. He was later taken to UMC Trauma Center in critical condition.
As for the Toyota passengers, all were from Victor, Idaho. The driver died on scene while another female adult and female juvenile also died.
Moreover, the remaining male juvenile was transported to UMC Trauma in critical condition.
At this time, police believe impairment played a factor in the crash. However, an active investigation to determine further details is still underway.
