Three Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Accident on Manning Avenue

ORANGE COVE, CA (March 1, 2023) – Thursday, three victims were killed and three were hurt in a head-on collision on Hills Valley Road.

Police responded to the scene around 2:00 p.m., near Manning Avenue on February 16th.

According to reports, the driver of a northbound Honda minivan collided head-on with a southbound red Dodge pickup-truck that was making an unsafe turn.

Medics arrived and pronounced the Dodge driver and the driver and front passenger of the Honda dead at the scene. In addition, three other occupants sustained injuries.

Crews airlifted one victim to Community Regional Medical Center. Meanwhile, paramedics transported the other two victims to the same hospital by ambulance.

Following preliminary duties, officers determined that the Dodge was driven by a 68-year-old man. Once available, further details will be provided about the head-on collision on Hills Valley Road.
