Two-Vehicle Collision on Chestnut Avenue Hospitalized 3 People

FRESNO COUNTY, CA (October 14, 2021)  On Tuesday morning, three individuals suffered injuries in a two-vehicle collision on Chestnut Avenue in Fresno County.

The collision occurred shortly before 6:00 a.m. near the junction of Chestnut and South Avenues, west of Fowler.

According to investigators, a gray vehicle driving westbound on South Avenue failed to stop for an unexplained cause and collided with a white car in the intersection.

The gray automobile landed on its side as a result of the collision. Officers discovered a person inside with serious injuries.

Officials also stated that two passengers in the white automobile sustained moderate injuries.

Authorities do not currently believe that drugs or alcohol were factors.

At this time, authorities have not released to the identities of the injured victims. However, a further investigation of this accident is still ongoing.
