Two-Car Crash on Brimhall Road Hospitalized 3

BAKERSFIELD, CA (July 21, 2022) Three people sustained injuries after a two-vehicle accident on Brimhall Road on Thursday.

The crash took place on July 7th around 2:20 p.m., on Brimhall Road and Nord Avenue.

According to the CHP, a sedan and a pickup truck collided together at the intersection under unknown circumstances.

Due to the impact of the crash, both cars overturned off the side of the roadway. Responding fire officials had to extricate two people from the wreck.

Police said two sustained critical injuries, and a third victim had sustained minor injuries.

Paramedics rushed all three victims to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Meanwhile, officials have not released their identities as of this moment.

Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

At this time, CHP authorities have no further information on what caused the incident, however, an active investigation is currently underway.
