Vehicle Accident near The Everest Momo Restaurant Left Several Hurt

PLEASANTON, CA (May 5, 2023) – Sunday afternoon, police responded to an SUV crash on Main Street that injured three people.

The incident happened on April 30th just before 2:00 p.m. in the Everest Momo restaurant at the 201 block.

According to a PFD spokesperson, an SUV drove into the restaurant and struck tables and chairs with occupants in it.

Furthermore, there were three people reported to have suffered minor injuries. They were treated at the scene.

Meanwhile, the restaurant was closed and was expected to open up in a day or two.

Upon investigation, the deputies learned that the driver stepped on the gas instead of the break.

He remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. Further investigation is still underway.
