A Rollover Crash on Highway 1 Send 3 People to Hospital

SANTA MARIA, CA (September 23, 2021) Three people sustained injuries Monday night following a rollover crash on Highway 1 in Santa Maria.

The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. September 20, at the intersection of Highway 1 and Black Road.

According to the CHP, the main cause of the crash is still unknown, however, a pickup truck and two vehicles were involved in the crash. As a result of the crash, one vehicle ended up on its roof.

Paramedics then airlifted one of the three injured to a local hospital while the remaining two were rushed to the hospital via ambulance.

Officials have not revealed their names and current conditions this time.

Furthermore, police closed the area for several hours for cleanup and investigation.

Authorities did not release any additional information at this time. However, the cause of the rollover crash on Highway 1 and factors involved remain under active investigation.
