Traffic Accident on Fairmont Avenue Left Three Hurt

SAN DIEGO, CA (April 13, 2022) – Wednesday evening, a multi-vehicle crash in Kensington Area left three people injured, police said.

The crash happened just after 10:00 p.m. when a 31-year-old man started to merge into another northbound lane while going north on 4800 Fairmount Avenue.

Furthermore, the man struck a rear corner of a second vehicle and caused the other driver to lose control.

Eventually, the second vehicle crossed over the center median into the southbound lanes, where a 57-year-old female driver struck them.

Meanwhile, the first vehicle hit a large construction truck parked on the curb as well.

The 32-year-old driver of the second vehicle sustained severe injuries. The front-seat passenger of the female driver’s vehicle, identified as a 65-year-old man, sustained a fractured sternum.

Furthermore, the driver of the first vehicle also received treatment for unspecified injuries.

San Diego Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the multi-vehicle crash.
