Traffic Crash near Encino Drive Left Several Hurt

VENTURA, CA (April 4, 2022) – Friday evening, a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 33 left several injured, police said.

The crash occurred just after 8:00 p.m. on Highway 33 near Encino Drive.

Furthermore according to authorities, a white pickup truck with two occupants was traveling northbound when the driver crossed over the double-yellow lines, hitting a southbound Toyota Prius head-on.

Subsequently, a blue Subaru behind the Prius, could not stop in time and crashed as well.

Eventually, paramedics then took the driver of the truck to Ventura County Medical Center for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, two other victims were treated for pain at the scene of the collision.

According to initial reports, one of the vehicles overturned, requiring firefighters to extricate three people from the wreckage.
