Officer and 2 Other Individuals Injured Following Three-Vehicle Collision near Sloan Road

LAS VEGAS, NV (March 8, 2023) – Monday evening, at least three people sustained injuries after a multi-car crash at Las Vegas Boulevard. The accident occurred around 6:40 p.m. near Sloan Road on February 20th. According to reports, a Mazda was attempting to make a left turn onto I-15 northbound when for unknown reasons, they swerved into the path of a police trooper and collided head-on. After that, the Mazda collided with a Dodge pickup truck. Responding paramedics transported two females inside the Mazda and the officer to UMC Trauma for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. At this time, authorities are currently conducting an active investigation into the multi-vehicle crash at Las Vegas Boulevard and will release more information as soon as it becomes available.
