Head-On Collision in North Bakersfield Hospitalized 3

BAKERSFIELD, CA (January 11, 2022) – A head-on crash on Highway 65 left three people hospitalized last Friday night.

The collision occurred just before 8:45 pm on Highway 65 just north of Jackson Avenue.

According to the CHP the two vehicles collided, blocking both lanes.

Eventually, paramedics arrived at the scene and transported at least 3 people with major injuries to a hospital.

At this time, Bakersfield Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the head-on crash. Both lanes of the highway were closed for an extended period of time for cleanup and preliminary duties.

Moreover, the identities of those involved in the crash have not been made public at this time.
