Three Hurt in DUI Accident near 210 FreewaySYLMAR, CA (August 16, 2023) – Early Friday morning, three people sustained injuries in a DUI collision on 5 Freeway. Police responded to the scene just before 1:00 a.m., on the northbound lanes of the highway near 14 Freeway. For reasons under investigation, two vehicles collided in the area. Upon impact, one occupant was ejected from the vehicle onto the road. Medics arrived and transported a 2-year-old from one of the vehicles to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
