Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 Left Three Injured

MONTECITO, CA (November 22, 2021) – At least three people sustained injuries after a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 101 on Monday afternoon.

The collision occurred at noon of November 15 on northbound Highway 101 near Sheffield Drive.

According to the California Highway Patrol, several cars flipped, including a minivan that rolled several times, for still unknown reasons.

Officers requested multiple flatbeds and tow trucks into the scene to handle the damaged vehicles.

Responding medics transported one person to the hospital, while two others sustained minor injuries.

Furthermore, officials shut the area after cars and debris obstructed many northbound lanes, but it reopened around 1:20 p.m.

More details will be given as soon as it becomes accessible, as authorities continue to investigate the accident.
