2 Extricated from Vehicle after Auto Accident on South 59th Street

TACOMA, WA (October 19, 2021) – Monday night, three people were injured and taken to a hospital after a multi-car collision on Yakima Avenue.

Emergency crews responded to the scene at the intersection of Yakima Avenue and South 59th Street, shortly after receiving multiple dispatch calls.

Per reports, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear. However, paramedics transported three injured victims to a local hospital for treatment.

In addition, two of the three injured victims had to freed from the vehicle they were trapped in.

The intersection was shut down while officials cleared the scene. Although, the road has since reopened to traffic.

At this time, authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims involved. No further details have been provided about the multi-car collision on Yakima Avenue.
