At Least Three Person Injured after Two-Vehicle Collision on North Gene Autry Trail

PALM SPRINGS, CA (September 7, 2021) – Thursday, a two-vehicle collision on North Gene Autry Trail in Palm Springs sent at least three people to the hospital.

The deadly crash occurred on North Gene Autry Trail and Tamarisk Road at around 6:30 a.m. on September 2.

Two vehicles were involved in the accident, according to the California Highway Patrol, though the manner in which the crash occurred was not immediately determined.

Responding officers transported three people to a nearby hospital, where at least one suffered serious injuries.

Furthermore, the roadway was closed for investigation and cleanup before reopening around 2:30 p.m.

At this time, no further information about the collision on North Gene Autry Trail has been released, however, an active investigation is underway.
