Three Hospitalized after Two-Vehicle Crash near Spearhead Way

RENO, NV (September 16, 2022)  Wednesday afternoon, three individuals sustained injuries in a head-on collision at East Golden Valley Road.

The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. along East Golden Valley Road and Spearhead Way, per initial reports.

According to authorities, a trailer-towing truck and an SUV clashed head-on for reasons still not known. Three people suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision. Paramedics then transported the victims to a local hospital for further treatment.

Moreover, police blocked off the roadway for several hours, and at around 7:00 p.m. the road was reopened.

Authorities did not release any additional information at this time. However, the cause of the crash at East Golden Valley Road and factors involved remain under active investigation.
