Three Injured in 11-Vehicle Collision near 67th Avenue

GLENDALE, AZ (July 11, 2024) – Three people died early Thursday morning, in an 11-car crash on Loop 101 Agua Fria.

Dispatchers received calls around 7:30 a.m., near 67th Avenue on June 27th.

Upon arrival, first responders found eleven vehicles involved in a collision on the eastbound lanes. Paramedics transported at least three victims to a nearby hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
Emergency crews temporarily closed the surrounding area for cleanup and preliminary duties. Speed and distracted driving were suspected as contributing factors in the crash. Further investigation took place as the scene was cleared.
 
An active investigation is still underway to determine more details about the car accident on Loop 101 Agua Fria.
