Major Crash on County Road 14 Left 3 Dead, 8 Injured

YOLO COUNTY, CA (May 31, 2022) – On Thursday, three people died tragically and 8 people sustained injuries in a van crash on County Road 14.

The incident happened shortly after 3:00 p.m., just west of Zamora on County Road 14 near I-5.

According to reports, a Ford Econoline van veered off the road, for reasons still unknown, before hitting a tree.

When responders arrived, they found at least 8 injured, with moderate to major injuries. After which, paramedics rushed the injured to nearby hospitals for further treatment.

Tragically, a man and two women died as a result of the crash. Although, officials withheld their names pending notification of next of kin.

Furthermore, CHP officials believe all the parties involved are farmers traveling back to their homes.

Authorities did not release any additional information at this time. However, further investigation is underway.
