Three Killed in Head-On Accident near Richards Boulevard

DAVIS, CA (September 26, 2022) – Early Sunday morning, three victims were killed in a wrong-way collision on Interstate 80.

The incident occurred on September 25th, at around 3:10 a.m., just west of Richards Boulevard.

According to reports, an Infiniti was traveling westbound when it collided head-on with a Hyundai. The drivers of both vehicles and a passenger from the Hyundai died. Two other passengers from the Hyundai sustained serious injuries.

Emergency personnel arrived shortly after and transported the two injured passengers to a local hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, police have listed alcohol as the possible factor in the crash. Authorities are currently investigating the crash.
