Vehicle Crash on Pacific Beach Drive Left One Fatality

SAN DIEGO, CA (February 17, 2022) A motorcycle crash on Mission Boulevard claimed the life of one man Monday evening.

The crash happened at the Mission Boulevard and Pacific Beach Drive intersection around 9:40 p.m.

Furthermore, San Diego Police Officer Buttle said that the 25-year-old motorcyclist was speeding in the northbound lane.

Eventually, he ran a red light at the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Pacific Beach Drive and collided with a Volkswagen Tiguan.

Moreover, medical personnel transported the motorcyclist to a local hospital. However, despite life-saving efforts, the victim died due to the extent of his condition.

Meanwhile, paramedics also transported the 62-year-old woman driving the Volkswagen Tiguan for treatment of her neck and back injuries.

At this time, the identities of those involved in the crash have not been disclosed.
