Toddler Hurt in Pedestrian Accident near G Street

MODESTO, CA (July 22, 2022) – Late Monday morning, a 2-year-old girl was airlifted following a pedestrian crash on 15th Street.

The collision happened around 11:20 a.m., near G Street.

Per reports, the driver of a Ford F-150 pickup-truck was exiting a parking lot and struck a wagon carrying a 2-year-old child.

Eventually, medical responders arrived at the scene and airlifted the child to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, the F-150 driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Modesto officials say the driver was at fault for failure to yield. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.

At this time, it remains unclear if the driver was cited by authorities. Once available, further details will be provided about the pedestrian crash on 15th Street.
