Police Pursuit on Main Street Left Two Teenagers Arrested

MORRO BAY, CA (January 5, 2022) – Authorities arrested two teens after a police pursuit on Main Street Sunday morning.

Initially, the Morro Bay police found the teenagers driving a stolen vehicle around 10 a.m. at the 1300 block of Main Street.

However, the suspect fled when the officers attempted to pull over the vehicle, heading east down Highway 41.

Afterwards, the Morro Bay police placed spike strips along the road after it crossed Atascadero.

The vehicle proceeded to run over the spikes and hit a telephone pole.

In the end, authorities arrested two teenagers, ages 15 and 16, who attempted to flee on foot.

In addition, three people were left behind inside the vehicle.

At this time, the Morro Bay police said that the two teenagers face serious charges including possession of stolen property and reckless driving.
