Major Injuries Reported after Two-Vehicle Crash on South Atlantic Avenue in Compton

COMPTON, CA (May 11, 2021– Two people suffered injuries Sunday morning after a two-vehicle crash on South Atlantic Avenue.

The accident happened around 8:55 a.m., on May 9 near East Myrrh Street.

The California Highway Patrol received reports of a collision involving an MTA Bus and an unknown vehicle.

Paramedics were called to the scene and transported at least two injured passengers from the MTA bus to a nearby hospital.

CHP had no description of the suspect vehicle and no other immediate information.

At this time, authorities are currently conducting an active investigation into the crash; more information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
