Logan Avenue Crash Involving a Patrol Vehicle and an SUV Injures Two Officers

SAN DIEGO, CA (July 28, 2021) – On Tuesday, a crash between a patrol vehicle and an SUV on Logan Avenue injures two police officers.

The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Barrio Logan near Interstate 5, on Chicano Park.

Apparently, the SUV driver turned in front of the police vehicle and collided with each other, San Diego police said.

As a result, one of the officers suffered from a small laceration to the wrist and burns from the air bag.

Meanwhile, the other officer complained of pain in an unspecified region.

Eventually, the police cited the SUV driver for driving without a license.

It remains unclear whether the involved driver sustained injuries.
