Wrong-Way Crash on 240th Street Left 2 Fatalities

LANCASTER, CA (October 25, 2021) – A deadly wrong-way crash on 240th Street claimed the life of male driver and a female passenger on Monday.

The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. when a 2009 Honda Civic travelled into the opposing lane on 240th Street East, south of Avenue M.

As a result, it collided with a F-350 flatbed truck, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Unfortunately, the occupants inside the Civic died at the scene.

Meanwhile, the 40-year-old truck driver, Llinas Gonzala of Miramar suffered minor injuries.

At this time, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office is trying to identify the deceased victims.
