Two Pronounced Dead after Three-Vehicle Crash near Mile Post 208

ELOY, AZ (November 18, 2022) – Tuesday morning, two unidentified victims were killed in a semi-truck accident on Interstate 10.

Dispatchers received reports in the area around 4:00 a.m., near mile post 208. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

According to police officers, the driver of a sedan was exiting the freeway and rear-ended a semi-truck. The impact of the collision then sent the sedan into another commercial vehicle.

The driver and the passenger inside the sedan were confirmed deceased at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their names or place of residency.

Meanwhile, the surrounding roadway near milepost 208 was blocked fora brief time during cleanup duties before it was later reopened around 11:00 a.m. At this time, the events leading up to the fatal collision are still under investigation.
