Multi-Car Collision on Cooper Point Road Left 2 Person Dead,1 Injured

OLYMPIA, WA (October 12, 2021)  Four people lost their life Wednesday morning after a fatal multi-car collision on Cooper Point Road.

The accident occurred just before 10:00 a.m. on October 6, at the intersection of Cooper Point Road and Capital Mall Drive.

According to reports, police responded to the area after receiving reports of a collision involving four vehicles, though the events that led to the crash are still unknown.

Responding officers located two people dead at the scene. Meanwhile, medics took a third person to the hospital in critical condition.

At this time, officials are not sure whether the parties involved were the drivers or passengers from the vehicle. Also, officials withheld their identities until next kin are notified.

Additionally, officials closed the intersection for a few hours while crews clean the area.

Meanwhile, the crash is still under investigation.
