Two-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 15 Northbound Left Two Fatalities

CAJON PASS, CA (December 14, 2021) – Two people died in a fiery car collision on Interstate 15 early Wednesday morning.

The accident took place around 4:04 a.m. on the northbound Interstate 15, two miles south of Oak Hill Road.

CHP said two vehicles, a Mitsubishi and another unspecified car, collided into the No. 2 lane of the freeway and the Mitsubishi caught fire after the collision.

Furthermore, officers responding located the Mitsubishi fully engulfed in flames, and the driver, unfortunately, suffered major injuries and died at the scene.

Meanwhile, a 60-year-old male passenger of the car also sustained major injuries and succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital.

At this time, police did not release their identity or any additional information about the crash.

CHP officers are handling the investigation and ask anyone who witness the accident to reach them at 909-383-4247.
