Two Dead after Fiery Car Crash on Lomita Boulevard
WILMINGTON, CA (October 7, 2022) – Thursday evening, two victims were killed in a fiery car accident on Avalon Boulevard. The accident happened around 8:15 p.m., at the intersection of Avalon and Lomita Boulevard. For reasons under investigation, two vehicles collided in the area and caught fire. Paramedics arrived and located a deceased victim inside one of the vehicles. Rescuers extricated one more person from the wreckage, who was also pronounced dead at the scene. At this time, authorities have not released the identities of the deceased victims.
