Fatalities Reported after Head-On Accident in Lake View Terrace
LAKE VIEW TERRACE, CA (March 11, 2021) – Wednesday afternoon, two victims were killed while three were injured in a deadly head-on crash on North Wheatland Avenue.
Los Angeles Police responded to the 11200 block of North Wheatland Avenue shortly after receiving multiple dispatch calls. Emergency crews arrived shorty after.
The events leading up to the crash remain unknown. However, crews located five occupants upon arrival.
Due to the impact of the crash, two people died. Three were later taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
In addition, the surrounding area on North Wheatland Avenue was closed for cleanup and preliminary duties. Although, the roadway has since reopened.
At this time, local authorities have not released to the identities of the victims involved in the head-on crash. Once available, more information will be released.
