4 Teenagers Involved in Fatal Single-Car Collision near Greenway Road

SURPRISE, AZ (December 16, 2022) – Wednesday evening, two teenagers were killed and two were hurt in a single-car crash on Bullard Avenue.

Authorities responded to the scene around 5:00 p.m., near the intersection of Bullard Avenue and Greenway Road.

According to Arizona Police, an unspecified vehicle crashed into a tree under unknown circumstances.

Responding officers arrived and located the driver who was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities at this time only described the deceased victim as a 17-year-old teen.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported three other victims, an 18-year-old a man, a 16-year-old boy, and a 15-year-old boy to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Due to to the extent of injuries sustained, the 16-year-old boy later died in the hospital.

At this time, Surprise Police are withholding the identities of all victims, pending notification of next of kin. However, an active investigation into the crash on Bullard Avenue is underway.
