Two Dead after Crane Truck Collision near Williams Field Road

QUEEN CREEK, AZ (October 12, 2022) – Thursday afternoon, two victims were killed and two were hurt in a crane truck crash on State Route 24.

Authorities responded to the scene just after 1:15 p.m., near Williams Field Road on October 6th.

Per reports, the driver of a Mazda ran through a red light and struck a crane truck. Medics arrived and pronounced the Mazda driver dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported three other occupants to a nearby hospital where one of them later succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, it is unknown if the crane truck driver suffered any injuries. Video footage from the scene showed that the Mazda suffered heavy damages on its side. Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.

At this time, police have not released the identities of those involved in the crane truck crash on State Route 24.
