Two Dead after Multi-Car Collision on Manchester Avenue near South Main Street
LOS ANGELES, CA (September 16, 2022) – Early Friday morning, a four-vehicle collision at Manchester Avenue claimed two lives and injured another one.
The accident happened around 4:14 a.m., on August 19th along South Broadway and South Main Street.
According to California Highway Patrol, police were pursuing a vehicle that ran a red light to elude capture. The maneuver resulted in a multi-car pile-up that serious injured several people.
First responders arrived at the site of the collision shortly after and declared two individuals dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics rendered aid to another person with minor injuries.
