I-5 Wrong-Way Crash Sends Two People to  Hospital

LA JOLLA, CA (August 20, 2021) – A wrong-way crash in Interstate 5 left at least two people hospitalized last Monday near La Jolla.

The incident occurred at about 11:45 P.M. along the I-5, said California Highway Patrol dispatcher David Rydalch.

In addition, the investigators also determined that a white Chevrolet Tahoe SUV slammed into a Mazda SUV while traveling northbound.

Afterwards, paramedics took at least two people to a hospital with unspecified injuries.

At this time, the identities of the involved parties and the circumstances behind the wrong-way crash remain unavailable.

La Jolla Officials are currently investigating the incident.
