Couple Seriously Injured after Auto Accident on Nelson Avenue
OROVILLE, CA (October 27, 2022) – Tuesday morning, a man and a woman sustained injuries in a car crash on Nelson Avenue.
Police responded to the scene around 8:00 a.m., on the 70 block of Nelson Avenue on October 25th.
Investigators say a couple engaged in an argument before the woman drove off in the vehicle with the man still partially inside the 2008 Ford Edge.
The woman continued to drive until she struck a palm tree and ejected the man who was still hanging on. Medics arrived and transported the 29-year-old man to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
In addition, the 28-year-old woman was also transported to a local hospital.
No charges have been filed at this time by the OPD. Any witness or informant is to contact the officers at (530) 538-2448. Once available, more details will be provided about the car crash on Nelson Avenue.
