1 Officer, 1 Other Hospitalized after Car Crash on Charleston Boulevard near Community College Drive

LAS VEGAS, NV (May 12, 2023) Saturday afternoon, at least 2 individuals sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Charleston Boulevard.

The incident happened around 12:10 p.m. at the 6300 block of W. Charleston Blvd near Community College Drive.

As per the reports, one patrol vehicle and another vehicle collided under unknown circumstances.

Responding paramedics then transported an officer and one occupant of the second car to UMC with unspecified injuries.

Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties, but have since been reopened to the public.

At this time, LVMPD has no further information on the two-vehicle crash on Charleston Boulevard. However, an active investigation is still underway.
