Multi-Vehicle Collision on Stanton Avenue Sends 2 to Hospital

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA (October 8, 2021) – Two people are recovering from a two-vehicle crash on Castro Valley Boulevard, late Sunday afternoon.

The collision happened around 4:15 p.m., at the intersection of Castro Valley Boulevard and Stanton Avenue. Police say six people were involved.

In addition, the Alameda County Fire Department say two pets were involved.

The events leading up to the crash are currently unclear. However, reports indicate that two people were sent to a hospital for treatment.

In addition, the surrounding area was closed during cleanup and preliminary duties. Although, the road has since reopened to traffic.

At this time, the identities of those involved remain unknown. No further information has been released.

Alameda County Officials will continue to investigate the two-vehicle crash on Castro Valley Boulevard.
