Two Hospitalized after 2-Vehicle Collision near Elkhorn Road

LAS VEGAS, NV (September 2, 2022) – Late Thursday morning, two victims were injured in a two-car accident on Cimarron Road.

The incident took place around 11:35 a.m. near Elkhorn Road, just north of the Centennial Bowl interchange on August 25th.

According to reports, a 2019 Hyundai Sonata traveling east on Elkhorn collided with a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta turning left from northbound Cimarron. First responders rushed the driver of the Volkswagen, a 22-year-old Las Vegas man, to UMC with life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, medics transported the Volkswagen’s 21-year-old Las Vegas driver to Centennial Hills Hospital with minor injuries.

At this time, authorities are still reviewing the two-car accident on Cimarron Road for more details. Meanwhile, the Nevada State Troopers continue to investigate the crash and will release updates once available.
