Modesto Rear-End Crash Leaves Two People Injured

MODESTO, CA (August 3, 2021) A rear-end crash on McHenry Avenue in Modesto left two people injured on Monday morning, CHP said.

The incident occurred around 8:42 a.m. at Almond and McHenry Avenues on July 26.

At that time, investigators determined that the northbound bus pulled to the curb at a bus bench.

Meanwhile, a Toyota Camry behind failed to stop and rear-ended the bus. As a result, both the driver of the Camry and a passenger on the MAX bus sustained injuries.

Paramedics transported the two patients to a nearby medical center for treatment.

Modesto officials are currently investigating the scene in McHenry Avenue to identify the circumstances surrounding the crash.
